Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...

How something you somethinggggg...
Geeze talk about sad times when you can't even remember the lyrics for "Oh Christmas tree".
But saying that I am more of a jingle bell rock and santa baby fan anyway :)

I can't believe how quickly Christmas is creeping up! While I am excited for it to arrive I wish it would slow down just a little so I can make the most of it. The days are flying on by way too fast.

I don't know about anyone else but I love looking at other peoples Christmas trees and decorations so I thought I would share my family's.
It is very very simple- green and gold and not much more. No tinsel, nothing overly fussy, but that's okay we like it like that! It has that kind of classic old school Christmas feel about it :)

Ornaments range from Disney, Myer and Royal Doultan to $2 shops and Target.
I also had to share my beautiful little Nutcracker dolls which I am so in love with. Totally get how Clara felt. I got these wooden dolls at Freedom and it is taking every ounce of restraint to not go back and buy another 10 or so!

Do you love decking out for Christmas or do you like to keep things simple?

I totally agree - in a way I wish time would slow down a bit so I can fully prepare for Christmas..it just came so soon!

  2. Aw wow it's gorgeous and I love the simplicity without any tinsel. We don't have any tinsel on our tree this year either because it's toxic if the cats ingest it eek but I must say it still looks pretty without haha. We also bought a white tree this year because our green one is huge and we can't trust naughty kitties with it yet!
I may do a post on my tree now that you have planted the idea in my head :)

  3. I love your tree. I personally think trees with too much colour/tinsel etc are tacky - I've felt like that ever since I was a kid. I am actually dredding once I have kids and they want to put their crappy hand made egg carton decorations up hehehe

  4. Aw thanks girls!

Tiffany it is coming wayyyy too fast. Even though I'm kinda prepared I'm not mentally yet!

Hahaha Lydia I can just picture you chasing our kitties away. Our cats are too old now to care but they used to always run a muck with it when they were kittens.
Yes you def have to do a post I would love to see your tree!

Noo it wouldn't be too tacky Karina, all Christmas trees are beautiful in their own way :) lol I know the decorations you are talking about (I make them with my class!! Poor poor parents.. the are beyond tacky with thick glitter and pipecleaners!)
